"Timeless Beauty, Persian Art in Every Tile"

A glance at ancient history of Ceramics & Tiles
We would like to take this opportunity to provide you with a brief overview of the fascinating history of ceramic tiles. The earliest known use of tiles for decorative and functional purposes was by the Egyptians, Babylonians, and Romans. They were indeed a highly innovative and resourceful group. Additionally, these remarkable tiles have a long and distinguished history, with their origins dating back to ancient civilizations.
Isn't that amazing? The tile was first used to decorate the walls of palaces and religious sites during the Achaemenes, Parthian, and Sasanid periods in Iran, which is pretty cool if you think about it! During that time, the lovely people of Persia crafted their beautiful handmade tiles from cut stone pieces. These nice tiles were painted and used as mosaics to adorn cities and royal palaces. Isn't it so interesting to think that the art of mosaic work was introduced to Iran during the war of Shapur I?
